RHS SHOW

A garden designed to illustrate the cyclical nature of life, showing how decaying plants support new plants to bloom.

The ever-present energy of water was used to create the design lines with the entire garden being held by a circular rill of gently flowing water. The rill brought in the element of reflection, reminding visitors how as humans we can also support each other.

Planting was chosen to slow the viewer down, ducking under trees, stepping over blooms across pathways and catching the scent of flowers, all to create an environment in which beauty could be appreciated at all stages of growth.

A garden for Macmillan Cancer Support. Co-designed with Studio Fitzpatrick.
