PONDS

A design driven by the natural movements of animals and the habitats they thrive in, this low impact landscape enhances the experience of our clients in their wild garden.

Green oak boardwalks circle 5 ponds of differing depths, some were lined by hand with clay from the site, designed to maximise pond wildlife and vegetation. The water fluctuates throughout the year, often drying out completely during the summer, a healthy and natural water environment.

Native hedgerows were planted to create hunting corridors towards and across the ponds for bats. New trees linked to the existing copse with simple mown pathways to allow exploration without impact.
