• DESIGN TO BUILD

This is a full design from concept through to build and finish. The beauty is in the ability to allow the project to develop organically. Outside spaces reveal their characteristics over time enabling us to respond to the knowledge we gain, work with the light and the seasons and produce a final build that is undeniably unique.

  • VIRTUAL DESIGN

Virtual Design is a service that enables you to independently build your design. I will work from my studio using photographs and measurements provided by yourself to sketch concept designs which give you the ideas to get you started. I can then be on hand to guide you through the build, providing an onsite service if requested.

  • GARDEN CONSULTATION

Sometimes all you are looking for is some fresh eyes on an old problem, new ideas to transform your space. I can visit you online or in your garden, spending time with you to provide inspiration and practical solutions to any garden problems you are struggling with, as a one-off or on a regular basis. Armed with a document of ideas we have discussed, you have the tools to revitalise your space.

  • TALKS AND ARTICLES

Having worked in many of the elements that make up a garden I am delighted to offer my knowledge and expertise in both informal settings, such as horticultural groups, and formal settings, such as panels and speakers at events; plus I offer garden writing services.

  • PLANNING APPLICATIONS

This service can be critical at the very beginning of the structural planning process for a planned dwelling. Working with your site architect, I provide concept designs detailing main structures, planned planting, tree removal, land sculpting etc to support the planning application for a new build.

  • MENTOR AND TUTOR

I am a garden design studio tutor at the prestigious Inchbald School of Design in London. In addition, I am actively involved in encouraging people to consider the physical side of landscape construction as a viable career path. I visit schools and colleges and am very happy to talk to horticultural students and school leavers about the opportunities within the industry.
